Waterflower
PERFORMANCE
Waterflower (Sabine Moore), a Latvian eco-futurist who creates raw, grungy electronic music verging between ambient and digital hardcore. Using plants and mushrooms as musical instruments to support the project’s key message, which is to reflect on the urgency of our planet’s crisis.
Waterflower emerged from the Latvian underground scene, first appearing in 2006 as Kroffork, making Sabine a pioneering female solo act in Latvia’s electronic music underground. Waterflower is a continuation of the noise / bedroom pop Kroffork project. They challenge stereotypes in music, art and identity.
